Road Sign
2011
Print on Aluminium

Banksy has often subverted familiar public symbols, transforming everyday street furniture into biting social commentary.
By hijacking the visual language of authority and safety, Banksy exposes how easily public messaging can be manipulated and questions the boundaries between protection and control. Placed in the urban landscape, such interventions are designed to jar passers-by, forcing them to confront uncomfortable realities within the most mundane settings.
