Save or Delete
2002
Lithograph Poster

This poster was commissioned by Greenpeace to highlight the issue with global deforestation, as part of their Save or Delete campaign. Characters from Disney’s Jungle Book face the axe, blindfolded, as their home environment has been given the chop. Now the arborist stands over them like an ominous abattoir worker, about to execute the last thing that stands in his way to a total space clearance.
The strong striking imagery was later deemed too dark, with possible infringements on Walt Disney Company intellectual property, so Greenpeace decided to withdraw this image from public circulation. As a result, very few images of this print still exist.
This is an offset lithograph printed onto recycled fine art paper.
